lizhi778 Posted February 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2009 I am going to visit Barbados March 11 (Wednesday) in Carnival Cruise from 8am-5pm with my mom. We want to visit Welchman Hall Gully, Harrison's Cave (Flower Forest if have time), and Animal Flower Cave.If we can, we also want to see some turtles. Is this plan feasible? What's the best to see in Barbados? Please give us some suggestion. Thank you so much! Any one want to join us to share the tour cost?
rjscott Posted February 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2009 We've used Cameron Reid twice now for a private driver and he provides very prompt, friendly and professional service. Contact Cameron at camireid@yahoo.com and let him know the sights you wish to see and the length of time you have to tour and he will let you know if your plans are feasible. Welchman Hall Gully and the Flower Forest are near each other, and Harrison's Caves is not far either, so those should be doable within a day. The Animal Flower Cave is quite a distance from those other attractions, so if you have to forego one choice, that may be the one. If you want to make a stop for lunch, and see some breathtaking scenery at the same time, suggest a stop at the Round House on the Atlantic coast. Very good food and a beautiful setting. http://www.roundhousebarbados.com/

Grammar Goddess Posted February 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2009 I want to second the recommendation of Cameron Reid. It's probably possible to do all of the things you've indicated--and even more--with him. We've been three times to Barbados & booked with him. Cameron is a courteous & competent guide who will show you whatever you'd like to see on his beautiful island and make wonderful suggestions, too. :) We've eaten at Round House, and it's wonderful. So is Crane Resort. Barbados is not to be missed! Have a great cruise! GG
