I just booked a April cruise & I was wondering when they assign you a cabin number & where I would find that info??

If you weren't able to select your cabin when you booked, and ended up with a GTY (guarantee) status, they usually assign cabins about 30 days prior to the cruise date. If you log into the DCL web site (disneycruise.com) and retrieve your reservation, the cabin number will show up on the details page.
