GAMOM4 Posted February 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2009 A few years back we went to the Blue Lagoon when we were in Nassau - we booked the excursion on the ship - at that time you could book a trip to the Blue Lagoon without having to do the dolphin encounter. The next year we went the Blue Lagoon for some reason - and now when I read about the excursions - it looks as though the only way to get to experience it is by booking a dolphin encounter - is that correct? If so, that is a shame because it was an absolutely beautiful island - it reminded me of Gilligan's Island...but we have no interest in a dolphin encounter. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other way to get to see it.
graysladymurphy Posted February 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2009 No you can go there for a beach day which includes lunch. $45 pp. You don't have to do anything with dolphins. Bestonbahamas.com sells it or you can just go through dophinenounters.com.
GAMOM4 Posted February 25, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted February 25, 2009 Thank you for your quick response. We really loved being there. I have booked a cruise for the end of July that is going to Cozumel & Grand Cayman - but I would like to go to Half Moon Cay and the ship that goes there also goes to Nassua (where we have been 3 times before) I thought I might consider it if we could go back to the Blue Lagoon.
