scteacher31 Posted February 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2009 If anyone has visited both of these places, which do you prefer/recommend? No one in my group snorkels. We enjoy sitting on the beach or shade, and eating good food. (We loved Nachi Cocum in Cozumel.) Thank you in advance for any feedback! :)
letsgocruz1 Posted March 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2009 If you loved Nachi, you will fall in love with the Mayan Princess. It is beautiful. I'm sure you've seen photos. Sorry don't know about Fins and Flippers. We didn't go there as I wanted to be able to wade out and play in the ocean and fins and Flippers is more for snorkeling. jacksmom09 Posted March 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2009 Hi! We are still undecided about Roatan! We were thinking about Fins&Flippers! But, I am not thrilled about the grassy shore/water! How do you book/get to the Mayan Princess?:D
mncari Posted March 10, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 10, 2009 I just returned from Roatan. Check out this web site www dot ronysindependenttours dot com. I contacted him before our trip. He responded right away by e-mail and even called me when I had a question. He's a very nice young man and did a great job. We really enjoyed the Mayan Princess. If you want a beach day just have Rony take you there. He charges between $20.00 and $25.00 for the day(depends on where you want to go and how many people). It was $10.00 to spend the day at the Mayan Princess. Check out this post for more info and pictures, http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=854860&highlight Have fun in Roatan. It is a beautiful island!!!!!
blessedwith12 Posted March 12, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2009 I was trying to decide between these two, also. And, I also wanted somewhere similar to Nachi Cocom. So, at the Mayan Princess, how many people were there? My husband and I will be there in November. We are both looking for a place that is less crowded. Also, did you eat lunch while there? How was the food and how expensive? Do they have an outdoor cafe? How about changing areas? Sorry for all of the questions, but the pictures of the Mayan Princess are beautiful. scteacher31 Posted March 12, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted March 12, 2009 Is anyone else having trouble accessing Rony's Ind. Tours website? It says... Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. I am sure it's the correct website. I have followed the link in the message boards and have typed it in. Thanks!!!
