My mom and me will visit Dominica 8th from 10 am to 6 pm

We want to visit

Ti Tou Gorge, Wotton Waven; Middleham Falls, have some time in Champagne water and enjoy the hot spot in the see in front of the Soufriere Church.

If we have more time, maybe see

Emerald Pool Trafalgar Falls or Boiling Lake

Is this plan possible?

Thank you so much!

You should take a tour to do all of this.

To get to some of these sights, there are hikes involved, so that will take a good chunk of time, plus you have to allow driving time to each attraction. We've been to Dominica twice and have used Reyno Tours both times. The first time, we visited Trafalgar Falls, or the twin falls. This is a fairly easy hike of about 20-25 min. each way, and you will have a guide along with you to point out items of interest along the way. We also visited the Emerald Pool. To get to the Emerald Pool, it is a bit of a walk down a fairly steep hill, maybe 10 minutes to the pool. It's very pretty and jungle-like. You can swim in the pool if you like. It's a bit more challenging to walk back up, but not really strenuous. Then we were on to Mr. Nice's Fruit Stand, where you can taste a variety of fresh fruits from around the island. A very nice and refreshing stop. We also visited a black sand beach and on our way to/from our other stops we drove thru the rain forest.

On our most recent visit, two weeks ago, we visited Middleham Falls. This was a strenuous hike of 45 minutes each way. We then went to Titou Gorge, which is like a big swimming hole. A really neat area. From there we went to Champagne Reef for snorkeling. Lots of bubbles percolating to the surface and a nice variety of fish and coral.

However, if you have specific sites you wish to visit, email Reyno and he can customize a tour for you and let you know what all you can do within the time you have in port. He wants you to have a good time and a good experience in Dominica. reynotours@hotmail.com.

P.S. Keep in mind that if your ship is in port until 6PM, you will need to be back onboard no later than 5:30PM, so you really should not plan for more than 7 hours of activities that day, just to be on the safe side. :)
