San Juan with kids from 10am-11pm

We will be on the Eurodam with an 8yo and a 5yo. What should we do while in San Juan? I have read maybe do a self guided Old San Juan walking tour. We had wanted to take the kids to see the rain forest, but then read that the ship excursion would be rough on the kids. Any suggestions? We are there until 11pm. We were going to do bio bay, but cancelled bc it was a bad time of the month. Thanks!

If you are up for renting a car or can find a private tour guide to take you- head to Arecibo.

There is a lighthouse park that was very fun for kids.

Very close by that there is also Fun Valley Park (like an amusement park for kids- with rides (pay one cheap price and ride all day).

 

If you want to stay closer to SJ- get a taxi to Pinones. There you can rent bikes (little ones too) and ride the boardwalk. Or walk it. Stop and play on the rocks or in the water.
