Ft Lauderdale departure

We're sailing on the Century in Sept. (western itinerary). What time do people typically arrive @ the airport? We booked a flight home for 5:35 PM. Air Tran has changed the departure time 4 times so far, now our departure time is 8:04 PM. There is only one other flight which is @ 12:22 PM. Celebrity suggests no flights before 12:30. Do all of you more experienced cruisers think we'd be cutting it close if we switch? Thanks

12:30 is fine..As long as you grab a cab to the airport. Ours was at 12:30 and we were there at 9:30...* is way to late..Also, you can arrive around 10:30 and you will be on by 11:30..Have a ball! [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif[/img]

As far as getting there at 10:30, I meant to the ship..sorry!

You should have no problem making a 12:22 flight. We normally catch a Spirit to Detroit at 12:15 after our cruises. One word of advice. Take a cab to the airport. It will cost you 10 or 12 dollars. Problem with ships transportation is that they may stop at 3 or 4 other airlines before yours. Have a great trip.

Our last flight coming home from Fort Lauderdale was at 12:00 PM and we made it just fine. It's literally 10 minutes from the Port to the Airport, so you shouldn't have a problem.

We took a taxi for the Port to the aiport also.
