Mrs007 Posted February 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Looking at the deck plan, on the Lido deck it shows 4 different areas labled "snack bar". Can anyone tell me if each of these offer snacks exclusive to that paticular snack bar, or do they all offer the same items? Also, in the Horizon Bar and Grill, I only see a salad bar, a deli and pizza station. I assume there is also the "regular" buffet line up as well? Thanks for any input. I just want to make sure we don't miss any of the good stuff :p

I just want to make sure we don't miss any of the good stuff :p There's a "Mongolian BBQ" type station (stir-fry), a salad bar, the 24-hour pizzeria, and the deli, which I guess is actually fairly new. They do have a "regular" buffet line, too. The stir-fry station and regular buffet line are together near the front or the Horizon Bar & Grill, and the deli & pizzeria are close by each other near the back of Horizon. I'm not too sure where the sald bar is (because I don't eat salad), but I do know that there is one. Hope this helps!
brilliantseas Posted February 28, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 28, 2009 The deck plans in the carnival brochures aren't 100% accurate when it comes to the names and placement of the dining options on the lido deck. Facing the back of the ship, the covered outdoor area labeled as Snack Bar is really the poolside grill (hamburgers, hot dogs, rotisserie chicken, fries, etc.) on the left and the Mongolian Stir Fry station on the right. Inside on the left side you will have the regular bistro buffet line, on the right will be the international buffet, featuring a different theme menu every day. The deli is actually a little square kiosk in the middle, near the salad bar and dessert stations, and the back right corner is the pizzeria. There is a bar in the left corner. Sushi is located on promenade deck right next to the casino entrance.
Mrs007 Posted February 28, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Thanks so much. I've heard about the Mongolian BBQ - so that is outside facing the "resort style pool"? Is it worth standing in line for it? And thanks for mentioning the sushi. I was hoping they had sushi each evening like on the Miracle.

lizardhowson Posted February 28, 2009 #6 Share Posted February 28, 2009 The food stations on Carnival ships are all generally the same across the fleet...
