Hotel Traiano in Civitavecchia

We are trying to find a local hotel in Civitavecchia for our pre-cruise stay. Can any one tell me if this hotel has elevators or can suggest one that does. My wife has difficulties with stairs. Thanks

Do not know about the Triano. Hotel Miramare has just installed new elevators. They are just across from a promenade from the sea (center building). Very clean and spacious. Easy walk to the port from there. Convenient to the train station.

We stayed at the Traiano. Yes it has elevators and the breakfast is very nice, the staff very friendly. The transport to the airport very easy. Room very nice.

We enjoyed our stay there.

The hotel has a European style elevator. Small and slow. We are staying there again in September. They have a nice breakfast, but restaurant. The main area with shops, grocery stores. and restaurants is 6 or 7 blocks away. Not too far.

We statyed at the Hotel Traiano in November last year. As others have said, they do have a lift. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and they upgraded us to a suite for the price of a regular room. It was also very easy to use their van transport to the port. We would definitely stay there again.
