Help!! need advice Re: themed nights on ventura

On board from 13/03/09 caribbean transalantic, first time with PO. Need advice reguarding wot clothes to take for themed nights :confused: eg carribean- loud hawian shirts for the boys, grass skirts with flower clips & necklaces for the girls???

Heard there are 3 themed nights, carribean, 80's and black n white is this correct please help, only 10 before we go :eek::D SO EXCITED !!!!

You've got it right for the Caribbean night! The black and white night is always a formal night so DJs for the men and the women usually wear either a black and white dress or trousers and top or, as I usually do, a black dress with white flower pinned on or white shawl.

 

I don't think many dress up for the 80s night - there is sometimes a 60s or 70s night instead. Some people do dress up for these but I would say they are in the minority.

just back plenty off bright shirts no grass skirts most dress up for black &white not so much 80s,the dress codes are now suggested but most people dress up on formal nights.

Thank you to all replies, just stressin I know, but with the strict luggage allowance now dont want to pack unnecessary items !!!

I have a 'posh' black dress, and will take my flower garlands also but dont think I'll bother with 80's theme. I'm sooooo ex:eek:cited 1 week to go

That was a long time ago, i cant wait i only booked it yesterday, i have been given 23 kgs is that right.

carol we have 23 hold & 5 hand luggage allowance, so late bookings for cruises appear not to get reduced allowance, that makes a nice change. We fly out on fri 13th from manchester (seemed good idea at the time!).
