Cell Phone Charges - Pearl

I was on the Pearl recently and took my iPhone with me, which has AT&T service and an international text program as well as international roaming. Someone asked me to post again after I received my bill covering the cruise to let them know if any unexpected charges appeared on my bill. I just received my bill and there were no unexpected charges on it. I was charged 50 cents each for three text messages sent while we were at sea and $2.49 for one brief call while at sea using the Cellular-at-Sea network provided on the ship. I received three text messages but there was no charge for those. I left my phone on at all times and noted that it did, indeed, switch from the Cellular-at-Sea network to the local network whenever we docked. Obviously, I did not open the Internet nor did I check emails because I knew I would have been charged $2.49 per minute for that usage. Please let me know if anyone has any questions.

Thank you for the update. If in fact you had opened the internet or mail you would not have been charged $2.49 per minute but rather $.02 per KB for data.
