TXGIRL09 Posted March 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2009 We are taking our 1st cruise this October on the Carnival Conquest. We are thinking about booking one of the "L" shaped rooms on the very back of the boat. There will be 2 of us going. Should we be very concerned with movement/rocky feeling or do you guys think it will be ok? We don't think we will be prone to seasickness but we have never been. Thanks for your help! :D

(besides, it would be worth it anyway for that double length balcony for the price of a regular one. :D ) Bill
LorrieB Posted March 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2009 Let me know how you like the room. We are booked in that room on November 8-15, 2009, on the Conquest. Our first aft balcony. We are excited. Take pictures so you can post them.

We are going to the eastern Carribean this time, so will also review the Bahamas, as well.
jrchvatal Posted May 10, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 10, 2009 My husband and I stayed in one of these and my parents stayed in the other on the Conquest in April of 2007 and LOVED it. Having a true queen size bed rather than the split down the middle of the mattress was the best, along with the larger balcony. I have some pictures from that cruise that I'll post to show the rooms. We always try to book this room first now.

jrchvatal Posted May 11, 2009 #7 Share Posted May 11, 2009 Here are more... We're sailing on the Conquest in 2 weeks (unfortunately not in our favorite cabin), so if you have any other questions or something you want me to look into for you, just let me know. DFW Airwolf Posted May 11, 2009 #8 Share Posted May 11, 2009 Just got off the Conquest & we were in RM# 7434 and I think it is a FANTASTIC room. Biggest issue we could think of is that the Light Switch for the Bathroom is behind the door when you open it. So you need to remember to switch it on before opening the door. (NOTE:Just leave it on as a night light) Loved the Double-Sized balcony & also being near the AFT elevators was nice going to the Monet dining room & Degas Lounge. GREAT ROOM & we will book it again as it is a PLUS to us
