Barcelona port to Le Meridien Hotel...Help!

We are a party of 4 and will need to get from the port of Barcelona to the Le Meridien Hotel when we disembark from our cruise.

What would be the best way to get there? Can a cab take 4 people with luggage or do we need to hire a car service? Your help is most appreciated.

A lot of cabs are SEAT ALHAMBRA cars:

 

 

It's a mini-van which can accomodate 4 plus baggage without problem... subject you get one exactly at the time you are in the queue and it's your turn...

 

There are great taxi-despatchers who will take care that you get the size you need:

 

 

By accident: 1/4 taxis was here a SEAT ALHAMBRA...

We booked here our car, especially as we are 6 and need a little more space.

 

I was surprised how less I should pay...

We stayed at Le Meridien also. When you get off the ship there will be one line for taxis. When you get to the head of the line they will ask you how many people and how many pieces of luggage. They will make sure you will get in an appropriate size taxi. It is a short ride to the hotel.
