Is there parasailing available at Labadee?

Can anyone tell me if parasailing is available at Labadee? We have some kids that are wanting to do this and we already have plans for St. Maarten so they won't be able to do it there. Thank you for your help.

Absolutely. I even did it myself!! Beautiful view from up there. If they know they want to do it, book in advance (it's a shore excursion from RCCL) as slots can fill up.

As Wrona just said, absolutely. I did it for the first time in February. Wish I hadn't missed the experience during all those years I was too afraid to do this.

Come fly the skies of Labadee. This tour will take you up 400-feet above Labadee for a breathtaking and memorable flight. Enjoy the panoramic scenery of Labadee and the surrounding islands from a birds eye view. Guests between the ages of 12-15 must fly with a parent or guardian. Minimum age 12 years. Everyone flies tandem. Boat ride will be approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Duration of flight 5 - 6 minutes. Maximum of 375 lbs.

How do you land from the parasailing? Reason I am asking is.... I had a knee replacement last June. I have to be very careful about "hard" jolting to my knee. So is it a "soft" landing? Do the catch you before you touch the platform? I am also considering doing the Zipline, which I am told you are stopped by a big spring before your feet actually touch the ground. So I now want to pick between Zipline and Parasailing. thank you!

Definitely a soft landing. They bring you in very slowly and you are directed to bring up your legs as you come in so you don't smash into the deck and hurt yourself.

We could not do the Labadee parasailing due to higher than safe winds.

We were bummed but were still able to do it at a later port, Grand Cayman I think!
