American Idols Jorge

To those of you living & posting from PR, just had to tell you how moved I was by Jorge's performance on American Idol last night. What a refreshing breath of fresh air & he seemd so geniune & sincere. I hope he makes it to the final 12!!!! If not, I hope I can find him performing in the area when I'm there November 2.

unfortunately, Jorge is not going to get a lot of votes from Puerto Rico. for instance US TV networks can only be seen thru paid Cable TV /Satellite TV (only 20% of homes do have this paid service in PR), most puerto ricans are unaware of this show or american tv happenings in general and third, Puerto Rico's top rated show is Objetivo Fama, a show that uses the same format as American idol but participants are from here and from other parts of latin america, singing in spanish mostly, their participants do get the same media exposure here as participants of American Idol get in the US.

I saw. I don't know that he will win it but I think he will do well. I would love to hear him put a latin twist on a song that doesn't normally have it.
