Tortola time vs. Ship time?

We're going to book an excursion to the Baths with Patouche and I need to confirm that Tortola is one hr. ahead of ship time. Correct? Thanks!

I just checked a world time web-site and it said that on Sept. 17, 2009, Miami time (cruise ship time) is the same as Roadtown, Tortola. I guess I should believe it? :D

Hi there -

I've been looking into the time changes as well. I went to a site that said Roadtown Tortolla does not observe Daylight Savings time which will have it 1 hour later than shiptime (EST) Novemnber - March. For example the time today 3/4/09 is 4:00 pm EST (ship's time) but it 5:00 pm Tortolla Time. In a week the 2 will be on the same time because of DST. I hope this helps. All that really matters is soon we'll be on vacation time!:)

Just checked my calendar and DST doesn't end until Nov. 1st, so I guess that means that we will be on the same time then, too. Thanks for the confirmation!!!
