CruiseSpecialist03 Posted March 5, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Yes. I strongly suggest you use cash at the Casino. They do give you an option to place it on your account but I believe it is at least 3% added to your total taken out.
todurkin Posted March 5, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 5, 2009 I agree with the last poster. Def bring cash for the casino. I normally spend quite a bit of time in there, and there is a 3% charge to use your card.
DanJ Posted March 5, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Cash is the preferred method.

Wolfie48 Posted March 5, 2009 #8 Share Posted March 5, 2009 just wondering if you can use cash in the casinos or do you have to use your sail and sign card there as well? Yes you can put cash into the machines, but they are begining to do away with cash payouts. Not sure if the machines will print out a ticket you can cash in at the cage, or if you have to put the credit on your S&S card?
mom_5 Posted March 5, 2009 #9 Share Posted March 5, 2009 I would be in BIG trouble if I didn't use cash.
yogi2929 Posted March 5, 2009 #10 Share Posted March 5, 2009 The charge is 3% if you get cash from the Pursers or Cage. To get 'free' money, download from your S&S on a slot machine, then cash out at the Cage. At least that is how it has been on the Paradise and Elation. ray98 Posted March 5, 2009 #11 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Yup....happened to me last cruise. I put $20 on my S&S at the slots....won $30. Cashed out the coins at the cage and they paid in cash.
