the english lady Posted April 28, 2009 #26 Share Posted April 28, 2009 when we weren't steaming across the med, if we had the sun, i was very surprised at how protected the balcony was. going through those straights we had a better view from our balcony. Did not go to many shows, for a few reasons. Did you go to the martin Bell talks...As you were on the same cruise i will wonder now who you were.....??? mind you who was I ???? LibraLass41 Posted April 28, 2009 #27 Share Posted April 28, 2009 We did the same cruise on Arcadia last year, leaving a few weeks later on May 5th, the weather was lovely. Loved Cephalonia and Corfu, and ofcourse the sail-in to Venice, we had a balcony too, which was great for the sail-in with no one in your way for the views. Choose a STARBOARD cabin if you are thinking of booking a Venice cruise. If you found Artemis too old, which I agree - why not try Arcadia? She is very modern, clean and still adult only, plus she is bigger. photos here of Venice cruise on Arcadia: http://picasaweb.google.com/AuroraPartyCruiseSueV/VeniceCruiseMay2008#5202919949434634258
