Has anyone used this transfer service to Anchorage from cruise ship? I have heard they do stops and it is a comedy tour. Looking for a good transfer to Anchorage airport and do a little sightseeing on the way. Any info would be helpful.

We used them from Seward-ANC and recommend them highly. They picked us up right on time. They run a comedy video that is rather corny and kitschy but is full of Alaska trivia and is synced to the sights the van is passing by. They made a rest stop at a junction, a longer stop at Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and a quick stop at Turnagain Arm. They will drop you off anywhere in the ANC metro area.

BTW, they have a Toursaver coupon and also have a namesake B&B in ANC. You can get more opinions on www.tripadvisor.com

We've used them also and were very pleased. We stopped briefly at Portage Glacier and had a roll and hot chocolate. We also stopped at a wildlife park and enjoyed seeing some animals there. The staff was very friendly and we got to the airport right when they said we would.

The only problem we had was Carnival would not let us off the ship (the Spirit). We called the van and they waited for us. Hopefully, Carnival has changed their policies now. At that time, they would let people using their transfer service off and would hold people using independent vendors.

We booked with them in 2006, ship (Whittier) to RV rental company (Anchorage) - good transfer if you don't have the opportunity to see some of the 'highlights' along the way otherwise. The comedy portion is rather goofy, but they got us from point A to point B, no problem. :)

We will be using them this May to get from Anchorage to Whittier. However, we will be on the 8am shuttle which has no stops and is about half price ($26). It's perfect because we are on the 11am PWS cruise. We will be renting a car the day before to stop at the sights we will not be stopping at that morning.

I noticed in February that the business is for sale, so if it is sold by this summer, I suppose it might possibly be run differently than in the past.

It was for sale since before we utililized them in May 2006. I had seen it listed for sale on an internet site and the driver confirmed as such. Doesn't seem to have been highly advertised at that point, perhaps moreso now?

Hey Retired...we are considering the same 8am shuttle on July 1. Do you know if they will pick-up at locations other than the two they list:confused:? We are thinking about some bed and breakfast for our last night in Anchorage but don't want to hassle with getting to downtown before 8am:eek:! Hope you have a great time!

I emailed them about that. We are staying downtown about 5-6 blocks from the pick-up point. They said they can only pick us up at the designated places. We may walk it, take a cab, or see if our hotel shuttle will drop us off.

Did you know they have a B&B. I know nothing about it, if they also use their shuttle from there, or anything else, just mentioning it.
