which NCL tour?

Taking the Jewel to Belize in Nov ...and trying to decide on excursions.

would love to see howler monkey in their natural habitat....Was thinking of one of the river/ruins tours....anyone been to both to compare? or suggestions.

 

Altun Ha & the Olde Belize river....6 1/2 hours...$90.

Lanai & New River Safari.....7 1/2 hours .....$94.

there a nice thread, about lamanai, going on now. lots of comment.

they do have howler monkeys, at lamanai, usually high in the trees. we didn't "see" them until we edited our photos.

lamanai is outstanding, but it is a LONG day.

thanks cathi, but was kind of hoping to find someone who'd done both tours....guess I'd rather go with the shorter tour, but do you see as many animals? and are the ruins as impressive? So hard to decide
