Hotels in Mobile, AL

We will be sailing out of Mobile in April and would like to know if there are any hotels close to the cruise ships that will shuttle you to the ship and let you park your car there while on the ship.:)

Hi, There are many different hotels in downtown Mobile all within a few minutes from the ship. The fees are around the same money as the cruise terminals. From past experience it is easier to pay at the terminal and be able to go to your car than wait to get to the hotel. Also most of the hotels won't resume responsiblity for your car were as the cruise terminal provides around the clock security and only cruise passengers are allowed in and not the Mobile riff raff that walk the streets that can just walk in any time. So, in reality, for around the same cabbage you can be right at the ship and go on your cruise without worrying about your car. And there is some serious riff raff in Mobile.

There are several hotels downtown that are within sight of the cruise terminal. There is a new Hampton Inn that just opened a few weeks ago that might not be on the list in the link. It is on Royal St. My company is across the street and is using it for our visiting clients, etc. and it is very nice. I am not sure if they have a cruise package though.

I would agree that you will find parking at the pier to be very nice if you can't find a park and cruise package with a hotel that suits you.
