Cloverfield Posted March 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2009 Just wondering, along Seven Mile Beach, where might be the best place to snorkel?? We do not plan to do an excursion at this port, just a "do-it-youself" kind of day...any recommendations??? Thank you in advance for your help, :)

Rapsmac Posted March 22, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2009 Try Eden Rocks, Google it. We were there with our kids a few years ago had a great time. Walking distance from the port. Lots of fish to see. Easy to get to. Best of all free.
GinDon Posted March 24, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 24, 2009 We stumbled on Eden Rock by chance, and it turned out to be a great spot. We had time to kill before our Stingray tour, so were wandering around. When you get off the tender, follow the shore and walk to the right. It's not far.......just a couple of minutes walk. You'll see a little set of stairs that goes into the water. There were tons of fish, some real big ones, too. I think they were called Tarpons. There was a big yellow float out in the water, and a great view of the ship in the background. There's tables in a little area where you can get refreshments. No charge to snorkel and swim.
