Having been lucky enough to visit Barbados on three cruises, I understand your wanting to make the most of your time there. We've always booked with Cameron Reid, camireid@yahoo.com and he's been a wonderful, knowledgeable guide whose suggestions we always welcomed. Our favorite places--and there are many--include the strangely-named Animal Flower Farm, which is actually a gorgeous place with cliffs on both sides of the parking lot and beautiful water; the Bathsheba section on the Atlantic coast [you drive through scenic Cherry Hill and the Scotland district to get there--both well worth your time]; both St. James and St. John's churches are wonderful; St. James is close to Bridgetown and St. Johns is nearly on the way to Bathsheba. We absolutely loved lunch there, both at the Round House [bathsheba again] and at Crane Beach [which is south of Bathsheba]. If you contact Cameron, tell him your time frame and what you enjoy and ask for his suggestions, I think you will be well pleased. Barbados is one of our all-time favorite ports.

Enjoy your cruise!
