Noise level - inside stateroom above restaurant

Hi,

 

We booked an inside stateroom on the Pearl (cat JJ, deck 9, 9607) and found out that it's above the Blue Lagoon and Mambos restaurant. Does anyone have experienced noise issues with these staterooms above the restaurants? We have a 2 yr old and defnitely wanted to ensure some quiet time at night for her. We were told by our TA that it's not going to be an issue but just want to solicit a second opinion. Thanks.

A very muffled high pitch pinging noise but your ear has to be really attached to the floor to really hear it good. You will be fine. Slept great!

Most, if not all, of the noise complaints I've seen (due to being near a dining room) were from people below them instead of above...so just judging from that, I think you'll be fine

right, the complaints you hear are of the crew moving furniture around late at night and scrapping the floors. being above the blue lagoon should be fine, it's not that (no bands playing) loud anyway.
