Slider Posted April 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2004 We are booked for October 9th on the Navigator of the Seas to the Eastern Caribbean. We are looking into booking a flight home to Phoenix out of Miami at 12:03 P.M. Is this too early to leave after we disembark?
PhoenixCruiser Posted April 29, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2004 We have an 11:47 flight out of Miami for Phoenix in June, so I can let you know how it went when we get back Personally, I don't think anyone can really answer your question as there are too many factors involved. Does the airline have several later flights that day just in case you don't make it? dmu Posted April 29, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2004 yes that will be early enough, rccl recommends a flight no earlier then 11:30.
TerriDHair Posted April 29, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2004 I flew home from our last Miami-based cruise (home being Phoenix-Sky Harbor) with a noon flight. I was concerned that it would be too early but we actually had a lot of sitting around time at the airport because we were there so early. It is definitely a hard one to answer, as "normally" a noon flight should be no problem, HOWEVER, if there is a delay with the ship clearing customs you may not get off the ship as early as normal. DH and I decided last time that we'd take our chances rather than having to sit in the airport until 5 or so, and it worked out.
