happygal74 Posted March 17, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2009 Quick question about swimming on Carnival with kids. Ours are not extremely strong swimmers yet, do they allow them to wear water wings (we'll be in the pool with them of course). Also, I read somewhere about getting two pool towels per room...there are 5 of us. Do we need to bring extra towels? Finally, are small pool toys allowed at all? Like diving sticks for the kids to play with? Thanks!
Julienatul Posted March 17, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2009 Yes they allow them, my DD is only 3 (potty trained too) and she wore water wings in the pool the whole cruise last time we sailed. No problem. Bring them and enjoy. You can get extra towels right by the pool. There is a towel stand there and they will sign them out to you with your sail and sign card. They also will have some in your cabin. Yes, pool toys are allowed but the pools are generally small and very crowded, sometimes standing room only on sea days so throwing and diving after them might not be possible. Bring them along and if they can use them great, if not its fine too. However, Im not really sure you can fetch a diving stick with water wings on :) Enjoy your cruise!!
