We just did this tour a few weeks ago. Some did the cave-tubing only and some did both atv and cave-tubing. I think there is an option for just atving too. Cave-tubing.com is very helpful in making your day whatever you want it to be.

FYI-I was planning on having my 12 year old ride on the back of the guide on the ATV. Our guide said he could drive his own ATV. I was a little nervous about that and they said "we test him out". Yea right, their test was, "ok, gas! now brakes! ok, he's good to drive!" Thank goodness it's a little harder to get a license here in the states! He had a blast though!

I've been told they have transportation to bring you right back after your ATV tour.

There are 2 pick-up times: either 9:15 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. (you choose). I believe the entire ATV-only tour is 3 hours, but I'm confirming this and I'll let you know.

Hope this helps!

Ok, here is what I got from Yhony himself...

The tour is about 3.5 hours. If you meet them at 9:15, you will be back to the ship between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m.

We've booked for 9/3/09.

One our last cruise we did just the ATV tour w/ them having done the caves the year before and the ATV tour was amazing! I surprised myself, they had just had a ton of rain and I did remarkably well considering. Our guides were great and helped us every time we managed to get stuck cause of the water levels. We had a great lunch and after cleaning up were taken back to the ship without having to wait for the others who went tubing. I think it may depend on how many sign up for the ATV only tour. Have a great time!
