Does a cruising Non-american/canadian guest need a visa

Hi There

Help me out with this. I am a non-American/Canadian guest cruising on the Valor in august and I have got some conflicting info. One Hondurian website has replied to my emails saying that I don't need a visa as a cruise passenger as I would be considered to be in transit and another has stated that I do.

Does anybody know which is correct ??

Thanks for any info you could provide.
