Using AOL on board ship

I tried to use AOL on the Jewel a week ago and never did get a good connection. Does anyone reccommend another email server that is better? I could just get an email account before I leave.

I just use IE and an "online" email account...

I would go with hotmail first then yahoo..I was on the EOS during hurricane Jeanne and I emailed my family and friends...through AOL..and it never went through and I had to hassle with it to work..but I still sent emails through my hotmail and thank goodness it worked..

 

I think AOL is great but not over seas...go figure a free service would work wonders...but you have to think hotmail is all over the world so it does work..
