graysladymurphy Posted March 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2009 Is there a shoe that you can walk around in and snorkel in? I've been looking into Teva Sunkosi's but they look a little bulky to swim in. Any suggestions? I really only want to take one pair of shoes with me on my cruise, plan to walk around and do a little snorkeling, not tons so didn't think I needed fins. Islandbear Posted March 19, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2009 I would look into some short travel fins to bring snorkeling. They are easy to pack and make even a short snorkeling trip much more enjoyable and safe. If you not going to wear fins, I would just go barefoot or in a lightweight surf shoe. Hi, I have Teva watershoes (sneaker looking shoes) and they are surprisingly light. They have a lot of webbing replacing the sides of the shoes and water drains right out. You might order a pair from somewhere with free returns and see if you like them. Otherwise, look maybe a the "reef" sandals with the heal straps if you don't mind something open toed (plus the little extras like mine has an integrated "flask" in case you get thirsty while walking (one set of shoes and drinks!)).
