Trolly roger

Hi - Has anyone ever taken this 1 hour trolly ride to "see" some of the island? We have been to Georgetown before and have done Stingray City. We've also snorkeled Coral Gardens Reef. We've walked in the town too. On this stop we'd like to see more of the island, walk around the town and head back to the ship to relax by the pool. This excursion sounds like we'll get a taste of the place. It "passes the financial area with its 600 banks, the central park area and stops at Hogs Sty Bay". Any thoughts?

Took the tour abour 2 weeks ago. It lasts about an hour and goes into downtown Georgetown and then South to Smith's Cove for a quick stop. We got to see more than just the oceanfront and the guides were pretty funny with local history mixed with some some funny stories. We saw some of the devastation from the hurricane after we got off the touristic corridor. From what I understand it's the only actual "City Tour" on the island. Overall it was a fun experience with plenty of time to shop or explore afterwards.

After the trolley we took a taxi to Sea Grape Beach and just relaxed for the rest of the day.

As a teacher, I fully volunteer to go along and tutor your child!!

Okay, since that is probably a no-go, take a taxi to the turtle farm (if it is open) and let him see the turtles and learn about their conservation efforts there. I teach science and found it very educational.

(you can also stop in Hell and mail a postcard back to their teacher, to prove they went there!)
