The 1/2 bath is a 'shared bath that is very convenient to 14500; it's in the open area as the elevators open.

Actually I am very happy to hear this and somewhat relieved (pardon the pun). My age 50+ bladder always appreciates a handy, extra restroom (apologies if too much information...) :o

In the Jewel-class each GV has their own half bath in their own foyer.

My best guess:

 

On the Star/Dawn, the half-bath is in the foyer, so I would imagine it was intended just for guests to the Villas.

We also rec. a comp meal at a restaurant of our choice, we did Teppanyaki for 6, we could have done alot of damage with the drinking, but did not. Be sure to get all the details for this meal.

We were in 14500 on the Star for 7 days in November and never knew there was a half bath somewhere in the foyer! That's pretty funny. I wonder what else we missed!

Just kidding, from what I've read it isn't really IN the GV, it is outside the suite... in the foyer

It's easy. The 1/2 bath door is made of the same beautiful wood as the rest of the foyer area. So, it's almost invisible because it just blends in with the rest of the wall.

 

(And yes, it is outside of the villas in the foyer/elevator area)

From the notes above, I'm guessing it is somewhere in the private 14th floor lobby between the two suites. There was definitely not one in OUR foyer. Since I don't know where it is, I don't know how we missed it.

Do you happen to have pictures or knowledge of the GV on the Gem? 14500 - I know their is only one super luxe master bedroom, but wondering what the other two are like. Any help would be appreciated.

WOW!!!! It is a small world after all....I looked at the pics u posted of

the GV and had to laugh!! The Butler (John) u had was the same guy we

had in our AC on the Gem in 08!!!!! Wife and I got a real kick out of that..:D
