Garden Villa

The 1/2 bath is a 'shared bath that is very convenient to 14500; it's in the open area as the elevators open.

WHAT???!!?? You mean we have to ...gasp... SHARE the half bath with those people in the other GV??!!??

No way, that's it - I'm cancelling.

KIDDING!!! hahahahahaha!!! (isn't it sad to think that, probably some people actually WOULD complain about that???)

Actually I am very happy to hear this and somewhat relieved (pardon the pun). My age 50+ bladder always appreciates a handy, extra restroom (apologies if too much information...) :o

I'm in the same "boat.";)

Reminder: Don't forget your room card, otherwise you might lock yourself out.:o

In the Jewel-class each GV has their own half bath in their own foyer.

Not a complaint, but it is just odd that with all the GVs offer, they share a half bath... wonder what the thought behind that one was?

My best guess:

On the Star/Dawn, the half-bath is in the foyer, so I would imagine it was intended just for guests to the Villas.

Maybe we should start a list:

3 bathrooms

3 bedrooms

6 safes

4 DVDs (1ea bedroom, 1 living room)

6 TVs (living room, 1ea bed room, 1 ea of the 2 master baths

10? phones

Hey, are you bragging?!?!?;) Oh, and don't forget the piano! Isn't it a "player piano"?

A bathroom scale on a cruise ship? Is that some sort of cruel joke? Forget the GV for me.

How do you miss a bathroom???

It's easy. The 1/2 bath door is made of the same beautiful wood as the rest of the foyer area. So, it's almost invisible because it just blends in with the rest of the wall.

(And yes, it is outside of the villas in the foyer/elevator area)

Ok, I understand now.

This is a world I will never know.

Here are some photo's from 14500. You're about to be ruined for any future cruises. We are literally not planing a cruise until it is in a GV again. :)
