Alaska & the Rockies tour comments please

I am looking to book Alaska & the Rockies Cruise and tour on Norwegian Sun in late August. Has anyone done this itinerary before any tips comments welcome.

What the weather like at this time of year? We have only done Med and Caribbean Cruises before. The package from the UK includes a coach tour of the rockies before the Cruise someone told me its best to do a train rockie tour first but NCL dont offer this option.

While I can't speak to the specific cruise you want to take, I will tell you that Alaska was the most amazing place I've ever seen in my life. We did a 7 day on the Pearl RT Seattle and Glacier Bay is beyond belief in my opinion. The more days you can spend there, the better. I hope you find it was wonderful as we did!
