we will be getting on ryndam next week on 4/4 & we have sailed out of san diego before, but never with 3 ships there, do you think parking would be an issue? we are planning to park right across from the cruise terminal... im wondering with the 3 ships if the lot is going to get full, we are planning to get there around 1130am,,

any thoughts ?

Plenty of other places to park that are a little further away, but cheaper, and will shuttle right to the terminal doorway (no need to even cross the street by yourself).

I use the Mission Brewery site all the time, and it is less than half the price of the lot you are referring to, and will take reservations:

The last time they had 3 ships in at once one of the ships had to use the Convention Center as their check-in location. Are you sure that is not the case for you??

I second Mission Brewery parking. Thanks to Splinter's recommendation, we parked there for our February Oosterdam cruise and were extremely satisfied -- , good online directions, car was fine, shuttle drivers extremely helpful. Using the online coupon reduced our week's parking cost to $49.

I really don't recall if the shuttle was handicap accessible. However, my mother who was experiencing some mobility problems was able to get in. Maybe Splinter knows, or you might try calling or emailing Mission Brewery.

Before Princess pulled Dawn out of here there was a three ship day and yes one of them was CC check in with shuttle. Luckily it was not us.

Have Fun

huh...while I dont imagine parking will be too much of an issue...I cant invision 3 ships in SD at once...I thought there was really only a cruise ship pier for 2

i know i was looking on the san diego cruise ship schedule and it shows ryndam, elation, and carnival spirit...

i feel a headache coming on,,, JK ;)
