Newbie needs help with excusions

Hello. We are a family of 5 cruising for the first time -- next week! Need help deciding what to do in Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Kids are 18, 15 and 8. We were looking at the mini-jeep and snorkel because it seems you get to do a little of everything, but reviews said the snorkeling was a long swim away and I don't know if we are all up to that.

What you could do is rent a jeep at the pier, drive around the island at your own pace, and stop at the Money bar for snorkeling. The island is small and you wont get lost.
