ScubaJune Posted March 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2009 Hello all, Is the BioBay tour really worth it? Princess wants $99 a person for their tour. How long does it take to get there? how long would we actually be kayaking on the bay? Thanks for any opinions.
RayInPR Posted March 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2009 The biobay's here are definitely worth it -- really a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We've been to both the Fajardo biobay (Laguan Grande) and the Vieques biobay (Mosquito Bay) many times. We're going to Mosquito Bay again this weekend! Do a Google search for "puerto rico biobay fajardo laguna grande" for more information and reviews.

RayInPR Posted March 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2009 It's takes about 1 hour 20 mins - 1 hour 30 mins to get from the piers in OSJ to Las Croabas in Fajardo, depending on traffic.
elkaholic Posted March 25, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 25, 2009 What about the nights with a bright moon (full or nearly there)? Does that detract from it too much?
SoccerSweety515 Posted March 26, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 26, 2009 Hey there ScubaJune! My BF and I have the BioBay tour booked for this same sailing. You should join our roll call; I know there are several others on there that have booked it as well. Nicole

If you are asking about your 2/10 dates... skip it. moon is too bright.
elkaholic Posted March 26, 2009 #8 Share Posted March 26, 2009 Yep - that's when I was asking about. We are trying to figure out what to do. We aren't drinkers, so the club scene is out.
