NeedaVac Posted March 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2009 We're doing this tour next week w/ cave-tubing.com (Yhonny) and I have a few questions: What kind of shoes did you wear for this tour? Did you leave your shoes on while tubing? Is there any place to change into your swimsuit before the tubing part of the tour? Did you get really muddy? Thanks for all your answers that I'm sure I will get!:)
skolega Posted March 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2009 Just did this tour last week. I didn't ATV but my boys did. This is what they did. They wore their swimsuits because this is your first stop before cave-tubing. When we got to the ATV site the guides said they could go shirtless and barefoot. That's what they did. Some in the group got really muddy and my son who was at the end didn't. My other two sons had some mud on their feet and backs. They washed it off somewhat in the hose they have. FYI- My 12 year old drove his own ATV. They said, "we test him out". The test consisted of him giving it gas for 5 feet and the yelled "brake". He stopped. They said, "OK, he's good". Wow what a test! He had a blast. All the boys did. The only place to rent shoes that I saw was at the cave-tubing site and it's only about 10 minutes from the ATV place. The palapa they have at the ATV site is so nice. My husband and I sat there and had a beer while the kids were ATVing. Hope this helps.
