newtocruisenett Posted March 25, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 25, 2009 has any one had trouble with there booking going the jewel to the dawn? I still can't access my cruise personaliser...have seen that P&O have updated their cruise and booking info regarding Jewel out of Sydney etc. I'm still waiting to see if Jewel has mini-suites as well as suites? and was curious whether there was going to be any price changes etc? as I'm now on the Jewel NOT the Dawn :( yeah, yeah I know the Jewel should be lovely too :) looking forward to cruising again :D Nett. aussiescouser Posted March 26, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2009 hello Net, i too couldnt access my cruise personaliser using my existing details, it was not until p&o emailed my new ref number that i was able to access it. It has all my new details such as cabin number and the like, my only prob with new cabins is that i am going with a group of friends and we had cabins next to each other but now we are in line with each other but on opposite sides of the ship, not a biggy but booked next to each other and would of liked to stay the same:confused: hope u can access your personaliser soon regards aussiescouser (pete):D

TJSMP Posted March 26, 2009 #8 Share Posted March 26, 2009  Yes I am too having trouble with the swap over. It was only when I was reading a thread on this site I knew about it. I rang my ta and was told that P&o should have contacted me. Still no contact
sweet_successes Posted March 26, 2009 #9 Share Posted March 26, 2009 My TA contacted me today about the changeover. All previous bookings have new numbers. At present, all cabins are just down as guarantees until P&O sort it all out over the next week. She then spent over an hour on the phone getting me my new booking number, getting me my cabin number AND the change in cruise came in cheaper than what we were paying :D I think people just need to be patient as things get sorted out over the next few weeks Rach
woodscruise Posted March 26, 2009 #10 Share Posted March 26, 2009 We are booked on a cruse next March and the agent I booked this one through left a message on the answer machine advising that the Pacific Jewel is a "New Ship" with much better facilities than the Dawn. As for the facilities we will have to wait and see, however I think the agents better be ware of saying it is a new ship when in actaul fact it is 29 years old old (launched July 1990 as the Crown Princess). Regards Michael
