Book thru TA, can I get an upsell call?

I read that people get an upsell call the week before they were to leave. So my question is, if I buy through travel agent, will the cruise line call me for an upsell directly or will they call my travel agent then he/she relates the message to me? Thanks....

Any communications re your cruise will go to the T.A. and the agent in turn should contact you. The cruiseline will only talk to the agency that booked the cruise for you.

They will not initiate the call to you or your TA(only in very rare circumstances) but you could always have your TA call to see what is available.

Our T.A. calls us any time there is an offer that we can decide on. Has happened 3 times over the last few years. Tell your T.A that you would be interested in being told about offers available from the cruiseline and you should be called.
