obsessedsc Posted March 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2009 it's hard to get info on this specifically r/t Royal caribbean on the ports of call thread because so many cruise lines offer this excursion. what time can you get off the ship and get to atlantis (via atlantis aquaventure) and how long can you stay? and i'm correct that you get to use the pools, slides, and beaches if you are on this excursion! do you also get use of the locker room/showers? thanks for the help
crusinmama06 Posted March 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2009 First question, how many people are in your party? Before you pay for this excursion (and yes, it's expensive). Check the options of getting your own room at Comfort Suites Paradise Island - which gives access to the Atlantis (pools, slides, beach, dig, etc). Rooms at CS start as low as $154 for some days, which is cheaper than 1 Royal Caribbean Aquaventure excursion. We've been to Atlantis many times, never have we done it through the cruise line. I've always booked rooms at Atlantis to take advantage of it as a resort guest.

szdiver Posted March 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2009 Depending on what time your ship arrives and leaves, the ship tour might be good for a first timer - we have been to Atlantis several times, and we still lose track of the time when we are there. Have a blast!
