Authentic Local Cuisine?

Hi, All!

 

Do to the fact that we are going to be pressed for time in Belize we are looking to spend our time right there in Belize City. Back in March we visited Belize on the Norwegian Sea and took a wonderful tour of Lamini.

 

This time we are looking for a little simpler activity like visiting a good restaurant with authentic cuisine. Any suggestions?

I can't tell you any specific names or locations because I don't remember them, but when we were there a couple of weeks ago we saw lots of "hole in the wall" restaurants that are about as authentic as you can get. There's a heavy Chinese influence in Belize City, so a lot of places have Chinese food.
