5HappyCampers Posted March 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2009 We are a family of 5 plus (10 suitcases!) arriving in Seattle RT Alaska via the Golden Princess. Should we just wait and get a taxi at the airport or pre-book with the Greyline cruise express shuttle? Princess shuttle is really $$$! Does anyone know what a taxi will cost, is there one big enough to fit us all and has anyone taken this shuttle, are they reliable? I will appreciate any information. You will likely need three taxis for that many people and that much luggage. Many of our taxis are now hybrids, and barely fit two people, and two small suitcases. (Even the sedan cabs will realistically only hold three suitcases comfortably, and the minivan taxis are reserved for the physically challenged and require reservations and certification in advance). Each taxi would cost you around $50 from the airport to Terminal 91, exclusive of gratuity and fuel surcharge. The Cruise Express would be far cheaper, and easier on all of you. cole Posted March 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2009 There are 7 of us (all adults) and we booked a shuttle with Shuttle Express from our hotel (Embassy Suites) to the ship and the cost if $150. We thought that was very reasonable! B. Cole
cole Posted March 29, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2009 Shuttle Express will cost our family of 7 adults $150 from the Embassy Suites to the ship. Much more reasonable that a cab and more convenient than waiting until a larger bus fills up with other passengers. B. Cole
