How about this for a solution

Well if I vacationed once a year that would work...except I will NOT do that! I look for good/great deals according to my vacation times (which are kids school vacations) and then pick a ship/cruise line. I think in the long run what we spend on our 3 to 4 vacations a year is more then one person in a suite ( who may never cruise again) would.

I did not get to 21 points by booking an inside. We always stay in a Jr. Suite. Yes, it is not a foo foo suite, but it lets us aford a bigger room and able to cruise 2 to 3 x's a year. A foo foo suite would only allow 1 per year. To anyone who books an inside room - GOOD FOR YOU!!. I am clostophobic (sp) so it is not a good choice for me.

I was just thinking that if the diamond members want access to the CL why not just go ahead and book a suite cabin? instead of a inside cabin.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious.
