KenMo Posted March 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2009 Since it hasn't started sailing yet, anything would be a guess. I imagine it's much like the other Carnival ships.
A&Jfamily Posted March 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2009 Never been on a cruise before, just booked on the Carnival Dream in February. Does anyone know what kind of foods are in the buffet?:confused:Thanks Her maiden voyage is in September...so no one could say for sure. But, if you run a search, you can find several links with menus. For breakfast, it is the standard ameican eggs, pancakes, fruit etc. Lunch is taste of nations (Italy, India etc.), hamburgers/grill, deli, pizza etc. Some also have asian station. I do dinner in the dining room, so can't help you there.

Wennfred Posted March 29, 2009 #7 Share Posted March 29, 2009 Basically like on all Carnival Ships, the Buffet will have different types of ethnic cuisines daily, from Indian, Japanese, Caribbean, French etc. They also have food stations like Salad Bars, Desserts, Sushi Bars, Sandwich Deli, Mexican Taco bar etc. Here are some of the threads with pictures: Pizza and Burger Grille http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=342832&highlight= Fish and Chips Bar: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=361778&highlight= Mongolian Grille: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=760717&highlight= Tandoor Grille: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=760907&highlight= Chocolate buffet is held on the last sea day: http://members.cox.net/wennfred1/Chocolate.html Cafe: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=343464&highlight=

golfadj Posted March 30, 2009 #13 Share Posted March 30, 2009 I don't know but does this elevator go to the front or the back of the ship? It depends upon which time zone you are in. Imagine wondering and worrying about food months and months before a cruise? Some people seem to have much to much time on their hands. partman57 Posted March 30, 2009 #14 Share Posted March 30, 2009 There's an elevator to the front and the back. Just remember to get your tickets at the purser's desk. I will be happy after my 10th cruise so I will be able to use the elevator that goes from the front to the rear. Those people have it made..... letsgocruz1 Posted March 30, 2009 #15 Share Posted March 30, 2009 No midnight buffets anymore but there is a midnight deck party that serves Mexican food...it is soooo yummy. There is a chocolate buffet, I am thinking it is usually the afternoon of the last sea day. It is set up in the buffet area...omg...!
