There really is an upgrade fairy!!!

19 days before sailing and just got upgraded from Plaza deck outside room-picture window to Caribe deck with a BALCONY-mid ship.:D:D:D:D

Can't believe it.So happy,i am sick to my stomach!!!never had this much of an upgrade and NEVER ever had a BALCONY room.I think that will be the best part of the cruise for me.Princess has us hooked again after not sailing for a long while!

Once you have a balcony cabin, you'll have a hard time going back to an outside...;) Our 1st balcony was in 2003 and we haven't gone back since---now for our upcoming cruise on the Emerald we've booked our 1st mini-suite.

It is very hard to go back to an inside after you have had the balcony. I can only do it on the short 3-4 dayers that I take in between my main cruises to get me through!

WOW - Enjoy. I am very jealous. I think that most of us secretly hope for an amazing upgrade like this. It is nice to know that it happens once in a while so that I can keep the hope alive.
