Anyone ever stay in an N inside stateroom?

Booked this category (deck 4) for our Gem cruise in Western Europe next month because the trip was a last-minute decision as kind of a "last hurrah" before my fiance and I move to different cities for the next four years, and our budget was not at all big. From my understanding, this is the "worst" category of cabins, and while I fully expect that we will get what we pay for, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience. Will we be completely miserable with noise, etc? The room is a GTY so I'm keeping my fingers crossed we will get bumped up at least a tiny bit.
