joey1 Posted April 1, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 1, 2009 Can you truly get a better deal on an upgrade if the cabin you want is still available? I have never done this, but am thinking it might be worth it this time. Jodi

You will see the prices and her valuable information contained in these postings. cruiseloverandagent is the pier coordinator in Galveston. not2old Posted April 1, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 1, 2009 If you are lucky enough to be able to purchase an upgrade, say, balcony to Jr Suite, do you receive the 2 cruise credits ??
babygoon Posted April 2, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Yes, they do take cc......we have done this 3 times successfully. Good luck. Thanks! Didn't want to worry about bringing cash. Keeping our fingers crossed that we will be successful for at least a small upgrade. Not expecting a balcony room but a SOV would be nice.
rubrrick Posted April 2, 2009 #8 Share Posted April 2, 2009 If you are lucky enough to be able to purchase an upgrade, say, balcony to Jr Suite, do you receive the 2 cruise credits ?? What a great question! Some say yes, and some say no. The people that we have cruised with in the past.........say that they got the extra point Someone on that thread said no.........one does not get the extra point. My gut tells me that Royal Caribbean..........will give you the extra point, as long as you can prove that your were in that cabin for the sailing discussed. All you need to prove...........is that you were in a suite......including a JS. Rick
