canegirl Posted April 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Deciding between these two tours and looking for any comments on them. I have seen alot on Coral Breeze but not Star Tours. Also wondering how big of a difference there is between Hol Chan and the coral reef Coral Breeze takes you. Dawn
AESONRISA Posted December 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 18, 2009 Can I ask what you ended up doing? We are looking into the same companies also...
DEwoman Posted December 19, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 19, 2009 We did Coral Breeze. It was really fun and I think the silliest but most professional staff we encountered on our trip. A++ in my book. The owner will email you pronto if you have any questions. Star Tours owner emailed very quickly also. The big difference that I saw was that you could get off the shuttle boat and walk right to Coral Breeze. Star Tours you had to take the shuttle boat and then another shuttle. So that clinched our decision. The Coral Gardens was fun. We loved the Stingray Alley. The guides were great in both places, they would point out a lot and if you are a novice, they really "herd" the group quite well. Lunch was great too. Bring small bills so you can get a Belekin beer or two. FYI-The best coral we saw was with Subway Sports in Roatan. Hope this helps

Just wondering how the experience at Stingray Alley compares. Did you see a lot of stingrays? Were there big crowds there? How much time did you have to spend on Cay Caulker? How much time was left before the last shuttle when you returned? Just wondering if there would be time to shop. Thanks...still trying to decide what we want to do in Belize (have done the cave tubing before.)
