Mamarach Posted April 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2009 I read that people recommended water shoes for the hike through the waterfall. Do you think Crocs would work? Thanks, Mamarach
DukeFamily Posted April 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2009 I would not wear crocs. Wear a water shoe that fits close to your foot. Get them on the cheap at WalMart - they're about $5 a pair. That water is rushing over your feet so you really need a fitted water shoe, IMO.

jkjmt Posted April 4, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2009 My daughter wore her crocs with the back strap on and had no problems.
WeBeGone Posted April 5, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2009 You need water shoes (aqua socks) so you can feel the contour of the rocks on your foot. It helps keep your balance. Crocs would work I suppose but with their hard bottom, I think your footing would not be as secure. This is the same reason I don't suggest tennis shoes. michellejed Posted April 5, 2009 #7 Share Posted April 5, 2009 I don't know about others but when my crocs get wet they slip all over, or should I say my foot slips in the crocs. Good way to break an ankle! Get the water shoes and be safe!
