Christmas Day on Board

We have spent two Christmases on board. I am already going through Christmas panic as we are not cruising until late January. Christmas at sea is absolute paradise.

Christmas Eve carols are usually sung in the centrum. We usually go to the midnight church service Christmas Eve, sleep in (DD is now 18 so no getting up early for Santa). We exchange gifts in our room, have a leisurely breakfast in the dining room. Santa arrives mid-morning and there is more singing. You can then enjoy the rest of the day with your family - no worries about tidying up the house for company or cooking the big turkey dinner. Traditional turkey dinner is available on the menu. After stuffing yourself, it is a true delight to get up from the table and walk away. We have found that we have much more time to spend together and enjoy each others company.

Enjoy! Enjoy! I am very envious!
